Sylvé was born in Seattle, Washington but grew up between the Emerald City and The Big Easy of New Orleans, Louisiana. Ever since his childhood, he found himself deeply inspired by the arts. After moving to Seattle and ultimately attaining an Undergraduate Degree in Graphic Design and Animation, he decided that he wasn’t fully satisfied with his chosen path. His innate understanding of design led him to find his true calling in the world of hair and makeup. It was at this time that he chose to pursue his Cosmetology degree while simultaneously pursuing a Masters Degree in Business. In 2007 Sylvé made the move to Los Angeles to immerse himself in the industry. He began with an intensive course in advanced hair colouring and cutting at the esteemed Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. After an apprenticeship at the Louis Licari Salon, and CUSH Salon, Beverly Hills, Sylvé continues to share his dedication to ongoing training as well as his passion for the art of hair.

It is my mission to develop my artistic ability in creating a statement through the art of hair, beauty and fashion. To construct a declaration that will be an extension of my complete reflection. I justly believe, throughout my life I have the capacity to change, motivate and stimulate others by taking the time to listen and understand what is presented before me. Continuing education, learning from others and recognizing my mistakes are paramount structures in sustaining my mission and ultimately MASTERING MY CRAFT.
